Gordon Dickerson, owner of The Corner Shelf, is enjoying his second full career as a bookseller of 32 years. Retired from The Federal Reserve Bank after 37 years, Mr. Dickerson and his daughter, Faith, opened The Corner Shelf in 1976.

| Faith Dickerson, Manager, loves putting good books and people together. Having worked at The Corner Shelf since it opened in 1976, Faith feels that one of the biggest changes over 32 years is people’s loss of time to enjoy reading. “Being able to share our staff picks is one way the shop sets itself apart from other stores. All of the staff are happy to help our customers find a great book for pleasure reading or a gift” says Faith.
